Cold Laser Therapy

cold laser Cold laser therapy, also known as low level laser therapy(LLLT), is a non-invasive and drug free treatment for pain and injury.  It utilizes specific wavelengths of light which reduce pain and inflammation and promote healing.  Unlike surgical lasers which are designed to cut or burn tissues, LLLT uses lightwaves which produces little or no heat. Cold lasers are placed at the skin surface to positively affect muscles, tendons, ligaments, bones, nerves and skin.

Low level laser therapy is widely used in the treatment of:

 - Acute and chronic pain
 - Ligament sprains
 - Muscle strain
 - Soft tissue injuries
 - Tendonitis
 - Arthritis
 - Tennis elbow
 - Back pain
 - Bursitis
 - Carpal tunnel syndrome
 - Fibromyalgia
 - Wound healing

At Aha! Chiropractic, we use the TQ Solo by Multi Radiance Medical.  This laser combines three different wavelengths: 905 nm super pulsed, 875 nm broadband infrared, and 640 nm visible red light at a peak power of 15W to optimize benefits and safety.  Low level laser therapy is a powerful yet gentle healing technology available at Alternative Health and Allergy / Aha! Chiropractic.
